There have been many good recent drama series on tv such as Deadwood, Dexter, Lost, Mad Men, West wing, et al. but none, in my opinion, have managed to hit the highs of the two greatest ever tv shows: The Sopranos and The Wire (I am more a Sopranos guy).until now.
A primary commercial and critical success, the sopranos episode is really the most financially successful series inside the history of cord and it is thought to be one of the big television group of record. The series is famous for its advanced of quality in every single benefit with production and is particularly famous for its writing, its cinematic style, as well as performances with the lead actors. The show is credited with bringing an increased amount of artistry in the television medium and paving how for some successful drama series to come. It also won a ton of awards, including twenty-one Emmys and five Golden Globes.

I would still call Mad Men, the best show on TV, because I have a soft spot for that show and for what the creator has done for it and for the previous show he had a hand in (The Sopranos). But yeah, in the meantime, Breaking Bad is pretty darn good.
